Abstract

Layanan BK masih menghadapi berbagai hambatan, terutama adanya stigma negatif yang melekat pada guru BK sebagai “polisi sekolah”, sehingga menimbulkan ketidakterbukaan siswa dalam menyampaikan permasalahan yang mereka hadapi. Kondisi tersebut berpotensi menghambat efektivitas layanan konseling dan proses pembinaan siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan strategi komunikasi yang diterapkan oleh guru BK, mengidentifikasi hambatan komunikasi yang muncul dalam proses layanan konseling, serta menganalisis penerapan nilai-nilai Islami dalam membangun hubungan komunikasi yang lebih efektif dengan siswa. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan metode studi kasus di SMP Negeri 1 Sumbergempol. Data diperoleh melalui wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi dengan guru BK, wali kelas, serta siswa yang pernah mengikuti layanan konseling. Analisis data dilakukan melalui tahapan reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa strategi komunikasi guru BK yang efektif meliputi penerapan teknik active listening, empati komunikatif, komunikasi persuasif, humor terapeutik, serta pendekatan informal melalui interaksi di luar ruang konseling. Strategi tersebut diperkuat dengan integrasi nilai-nilai Islami, khususnya prinsip Qaulan Layyinan, Qaulan Ma’rufan, dan Mau’izhah Hasanah yang menekankan kelembutan, kesantunan, dan pemberian nasihat secara bijaksana. Hambatan utama yang ditemukan meliputi stigma ruang BK sebagai tempat penghukuman, perbedaan persepsi guru dan siswa terhadap fungsi BK, serta penggunaan bahasa yang kurang sesuai dengan karakteristik peserta didik. Upaya mengatasi hambatan tersebut, sekolah mengembangkan program “BK Sahabat Siswa” yang berorientasi pada pendekatan humanis, religius, dan partisipatif. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa strategi komunikasi guru BK yang dipadukan dengan nilai-nilai Islami memiliki peran penting dalam meningkatkan keterbukaan siswa serta membangun citra positif layanan BK di lingkungan sekolah.
